Clan MacAlpine Kiltie Band 1912

Originating in 1912, the Clan MacAlpine Bagpipe Band of the
Scottish Educational Society of Rockford, Illinois is the 15th
oldest Scottish Highland Bagpipe band still in existance
within the United States.

Throughout our history, our band has been affiliated with the
Rockford Burns Club, which formed in November of 1858,
and is the oldest continuous social and ethnic organization
in the city of Rockford, Illinois. It is also one of the oldest
Robert Burns clubs in the United States and internationally.

Beyond performing at the yearly Robert Burns Banquet,
the Pipes and Drums of Clan MacAlpine appear in many
parades and events in the Northern Illinois and Southern
Wisconsin areas throughout the year. Our members also
perform solo or in combination for a variety of events
including weddings, funerals, and other special occasions.

If you are interested in hiring the band or members for
your event, contact us at:  Clanmacalpine@gmail.com
